Fight the bracken: Help save local ‘Heritage at Risk’ sites

Morecambe Bay Partnership is seeking volunteers to help fight vegetation, which is threatening nationally important ’Heritage at Risk’ sites on Birkrigg Common, near Ulverston. Electrifying Cycling around Morecambe Bay!

A brand new electric bike network, developed by Morecambe Bay Partnership, and run by local businesses, is launching around Morecambe Bay this summer, in a bid to open up the spectacular coastline and hinterland of South Lakes and North Lancashire, for residents and visitors to explore.

The Morecambe Bay Electric Bike Network provides the perfect way to explore the villages, towns, countryside and coastline of Morecambe Bay’s stunning landscape with the subtle but powerful assistance of an electric bike - without the strain of steep inclines or having to break a sweat!
