Working to bring jobs, hope and happiness
to the communities of Morecambe Bay...

Big thanks to all partners for their support including
Cumbria County Council - much of our work is funded through large grants including heritage lottery and coastal communities funds, for these CCC acts as lead body - although the first stage applications were made by the charity with CCC Cabinet approval made and given before the Council took on the lead. From the early days of the Partnership the Council agreed to support the work of the Morecambe Bay Partnership on behalf of all the partners by providing payroll and banking services, and employing the Partnership staff.
Cumbria Tourism - a key partner in the Coastal Communities Funded work.
Cumbria Wildlife Trust - delivery partners on Dunes of Barrow.
Lancaster University - Vice- Chancellor, Professor Mark E. Smith, Chairs the H2H Board.
Marketing Lancashire - a key partner in the Coastal Communities Funded work.
Morecambe Bay Local Nature Partnership - joined up work to connect and make new friends for nature.
Natural England - outstanding support in project development from our friends at Natural England and partners in Dunes of Barrow.
Sustrans - worked with us in delivering the Bay Cycle Way and co-ordinates the volunteers who maintain and monitor the condition of the route.
Seven sculptures of local coastal birds, designed by Ulverston-based artist and metalworker Chris Bramall of CB Arts, have been installed at sites around Morecambe Bay.
