'What's Your View?' aims to discover more about your local priorities, hopes and aspirations for communities and places around the Bay.

Through community conversations, workshops and surveys, this project will encourage everyone to think about what their future local environment could look like and hear your thoughts about our Bay's changing nature, climate, and coastline.

At the end of the project, ideas generated through your conversations and collaboration will create a positive and shared visualisation tool of how Morecambe Bay could be a better place to live, work and experience in 2050 and beyond. It will inspire positive action, help shape future projects, and be an important source of evidence for funders and decision makers, because it has come from you.

It will also support understanding around climate change, coastal change and sustainable, nature-based solutions for Morecambe Bay.

With your help, we want to create a vision for a sustainable coastal environment here, that benefits people and nature, as we all learn to live and adapt to climate change.

Between August 2025 and February 2026 we'll bring our 'What's Your View' interactive activities to your community to start conversations around your feelings, ideas, hopes, concerns, aspirations and solutions. We'll be popping up at festivals, events, libraries, markets and more.

Take part in our Survey

You are invited to complete our short survey about Morecambe Bay. It will only take about 5-7 minutes to complete and will be open until the end of February 2026
