  • Oral History Recording - Fishermen's Tales

Help us capture the unique fishing heritage of Morecambe Bay. We need volunteers  who love hearing eye-witness stories about Morecambe Bay to help us collect these precious first hand accounts. Learn the skills to make your own oral history recordings or help us transcribe our interviews. We are currently active in the Morecambe & Grange-over-Sands areas, with other parts of the Bay to follow. We especially need more volunteers in the Grange area.

If you would like to take part  please get in touch. Contact michelle@morecambebay.org.uk

The oral history role profiles below will tell you what you need to know. Training sessions will be arranged with you so please get in touch for more details.
