Yorkshire-born Michelle spent 15 years as a curator and manager at a number of museums in Cumbria and north Lancashire before joining the Partnership in 2014. With a background in maritime collections, historic buildings, exhibitions, volunteers, community projects and events, she is passionate about working in collaboration with local communities, organisations and volunteers to create meaningful engagement with heritage, nature and the Morecambe Bay landscape. Gareth joined us having most recently worked on creating opportunities for people to get more active in the Lake District, with the National Trust, including the development of the Active Base at Fell Foot Park on the shores of Windermere. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Gareth particulary enjoys getting out on his bike and out on the water in a canoe.
Richard joined us in February 2018. He has significant practical expertise in youth and community engagement, volunteering, regeneration and access. It's great to have him on our team as he's terrific at innovative partnerships, and knows about everything from car repair to arts and design, from landownership issues to local government procurement.
Originally from Lancashire, Amy studied Marine Biology and has worked for the Wildlife Trusts, RSPB and the National Trust protecting the amazing wildlife of our shores. She loves helping people see, and care for the wildlife spectacles right on our doorstep. Amy is thrilled to be a champion for the iconic wildlife of the Bay, protecting bird nesting and roosting sites, and sharing her passion for wildlife.
Originally from Cumbria, Anya has worked for the RSPB and the National Trust in the Lake District, as well as undertaken partnership projects with Forestry England and Lake District National Park. She has a background in marketing and sales, as well as large event management and community engagement. She is a keen birdwatcher and environmentalist who can’t wait to inspire people to look after the natural world.
