A spectacular street gallery of amazing images of nature is open 24/7 in Morecambe.

A street gallery of beautiful and inspiring photographs is now open 24/7 in Morecambe.  There are 100 panels of powerful images showing the awesomeness of nature. It will make you wonder and make you smile.  These 100 panels are in Morecambe until 29 June when they move to Barrow (1 July -2 Aug) and then Grange (5-29 Aug).  

This prestigious event has been on the south bank of the Thames in London as well as in Edinburgh and Brighton.  We really hope you'll get along to enjoy it - and tell your friends too.

Disabled Ramblers enjoy Arnside Knott

Disabled Ramblers is a fabulous organisation. It helps mobility-challenged people get back out into the countryside.  Their 'Northern Tour' took in Leighton Moss & Gait Barrows on 2 June, and Arnside Knott on 3 June 2014.  Many of their members use 'Trampers' - rugged mobility scooters designed to tackle off-road terrain. 

Morecambe Bay Partnership wants to open up the Bay to more visitors, including disabled visitors where this is appropriate.  So, we were delighted to join the rambles as helpers.  It was a great chance for us to learn.
