Delightful - Irene was completed made up...

Disabled Ramblers is a fabulous organisation. It helps mobility-challenged people get back out into the countryside.  Their 'Northern Tour' took in Leighton Moss & Gait Barrows on 2 June, and Arnside Knott on 3 June 2014.  Many of their members use 'Trampers' - rugged mobility scooters designed to tackle off-road terrain.

Morecambe Bay Partnership wants to open up the Bay to more visitors, including disabled visitors where this is appropriate.  So, we were delighted to join the rambles as helpers.  It was a great chance for us to learn. full story
