Top photographer brings his Vision to Grange

One of the UK's top nature photographers, Peter Cairns, will arrive in Grange-over-Sands on Thursday 21 August to present an evening of spell-binding imagery and personal anecdotes from 2020VISION, the most ambitious nature photography project ever staged in the UK. The event supports the current 2020VISION Street Gallery which is on display 24/7 on Grange-over-Sands Promenade as part of a three-venue tour of Morecambe Bay.

A spectacular street gallery of amazing images of nature is open 24/7 in Grange.

A street gallery of beautiful and inspiring photographs is now open 24/7 Grange Promenade.  There are 100 panels of powerful images showing the awesomeness of nature. It will make you wonder and make you smile.  These 100 panels are in Grange until 29 August.

This prestigious event has been on the south bank of the Thames in London as well as in Edinburgh and Brighton.  We really hope you'll get along to enjoy it - and tell your friends too.

What a GREAT Bay! Mapping Morecambe Bay

Mapping Morecambe Bay is an exciting artist-led research programme for the Morecambe Bay area. We are working in partnership with Barrow-based Art Gene, to map hidden assets and the stories of local people that draw out the fascinating social, natural and industrial histories of the Bay. These will be captured in four new maps designed by artist Stuart Bastik, the ‘Seldom Seen’ map series, covering: Furness Peninsula; Cartmel Peninsula; Arnside, Silverdale and area; Morecambe, Heysham and area.
