Coastal Communities Team Delivery Officer

We are looking for a project manager to work within our team to deliver a suite of projects across the Morecambe Bay area.  These projects include developing walking and cycling routes, increasing access to the outdoors for people with disabilities and developing new unique visitor experiences.

You will be taking ownership of projects, from concept through delivery to evaluation. You will have responsibility for budget, procuring services of external organisations and achieving the best outcomes for the programme.

Event development and management will be an important part of this role. Can you develop a great idea that will attract lots of interest and raise the profile of Morecambe Bay for cycling and walking?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Loves the outdoors and believes that access to, and spending time around, nature is a positive benefit for society.
  • Is able to inspire and engage participation by bringing the outdoors to life, through great programming, interpretation, and events.
  • Brings experience of working with different businesses to develop and enhance the visitor offer.
