Consultation - 7 March Carnforth 6 pm

In January 2017, Morecambe Bay Partnership working together with South Lakeland District Council, secured £10,000 from the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) to

  • form a Coastal Community Team
  • work on an economic plan for the area
  • help shape a framework for investment.

A Coastal Community Team is a local partnership working to develop a strong understanding of the issues and opportunities in the area to make an effective plan.

We are inviting everyone with an interest to join in to help shape the economic future of Morecambe Bay.

Please join us, share you views and big ideas to support jobs and growth in the area. We're welcoming everyone to a open meeting in Carnforth on Tuesday 7 March 2017 at the Furness Hall, Carnforth Station Heritage Centre, Carnforth, 6-7.30pm.  Please confirm your attendance by email to Jenny Wain.
