Celebrating the Bay's Heritage - Headlands to Headspace

Our rich maritime, coastal and seaside heritage is unique. It's what's shaped us. We want everyone to share the fun and excitement.

Headlands to Headspace (H2H) is a major initiative motivated by a community desire to protect and celebrate Morecambe Bay’s rich heritage. 

Through this Heritage Lottery funded Landscape Partnership Scheme, we are working hard to:

  • conserve and protect Morecambe Bay's rich natural and cultural heritage - read more
  • Involve the Bay's communities in all aspects of  this Scheme, inlcuding through events - read more
  • Provide significantly improved access for all audiences to the key natural and cultural heritage sites - read more
  • Provide training opportunities for local communities to gain new skills in heritage read more

H2H is a Heritage Lottery funded Landscape Partnership Scheme and will run until December 2018.
