Silloth West Beach Clean

If you only know Silloth’s concrete promenade, this long sandy beach will be a surprise – sand dunes, sea-birds but sadly rubbish too.  The beach debris goes to Carlisle’s Mechanical Biological Treatment Plant where about 85% will be recycled.

Meet/park:  Meet at the free West Beach car park, reached by passing Silloth Golf Club on the left and heading straight on over yellow speed bumps.

All equipment provided but wellies and waterproofs advisable.
