Interested in sailing on the Bay?

Morecambe Bay Sailing Association (MBSA) is a group of 13 sailing & yacht clubs in the Morecambe Bay area.  The clubs have different interests ranging from windsurfing, dinghy sailing & racing, yacht racing & cruising, to powerboating & social events.

The MBSA acts as a liaison group between the clubs, organises open sailing events during the season, maintains good social contacts & monitors commercial & environmental developments around the bay with respect to their effect on sailing.

Its current chairman is Steve Taylor, who is also Commodore of River Wyre Yacht Club.  Steve can be contacted on 01253 811948 or by email to s.taylor@btclick.com.

Contacts for Roa Island Boating Club are Tony Almond (01229 474061) and, for yacht races, Paul Venton (01229 473782).
