Bay Leaflet and Web promotes Active Tourism

A new tourism leaflet and associated website were launched in July 2010.  This brought Lancashire and Cumbria Tourism Boards together to promote activities right around the Bay for first time

Copies of the leaflet are available at Tourist Information Centres, and although the format works best as a paper copy, a pdf is available to download.

Associated with this is a dedicated Morecambe Bay tourism website

The focus of both leaflet and website is on activities – walking, cycling, kite-sports, canoeing, sailing and adrenaline sports.  This is in line with Cumbria Tourism’s Adventure Capital strategy and Lancashire's Active Enjoyment it has been funded by Cumbria Tourism, Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board, West Lakes Renaissance and Invest in Cumbria.
