Seminar to explore the scope to establish a Regional Park for the Morecambe Bay and Duddon area

The concept of a regional park for the Morecambe Bay and Duddon area has been around for more than 5 years, but until the last few months had not been significantly developed.  In 2008, three short pieces of scoping work have been completed.

On 17 October 2008, a seminar in the Midland Hotel, Morecambe brought together the local authorities and other agencies to review these studies and explore the scope to establish a Regional Park for the area.
