EXPO 2008
 Changing Channels
7 -13 August
10.30-5.30 daily

Victoria Hall, Main Street
Grange-over-Sands, LA11 6DP

Please encourage your family and friends to join us at this free event.

EXPO 2008 tells fascinating stories about the Kent Estuary and Furness area and its relationship to Morecambe Bay. It looks at changing channels, changing shorelines and their consequences for places and people in the Furness and Kent Estuary area, telling how places and people interact and change.

.

The Exhibition is community-led and includes work from local artists, historians, photographers and researchers. There will be something for everyone with a warm welcome and a wealth of local knowledge.

Denys Vaughn, a landscape historian, who has prepared and co-ordinated much of the material will be present to answer questions every morning and Susannah Bleakley of the Morecambe Bay Partnership will be there every afternoon. Your support would be much appreciated.

We are really hoping that local people will come out and visit EXPO 2008 and bring friends and family, and encourage local visitors too. We're looking forward to welcoming a tremendous turn-out.
