Morecambe Bay Partnership is leading the development of a collaborative Heritage Lottery Landscape Partnership Scheme around the Bay.  The title for this is Headlands to Headspace (H2H).

This Heritage Lottery Fund scheme could deliver a range of projects for community benefit across this important and beautiful landscape.  The scheme encourages the development of a portfolio of sub-projects against four themes.  To explain more about this opportunity for large scale collaboration, we held a very successful project development workshop at the Midland Hotel, Morecambe on 30 June 2010.  The presentations from this seminar are available to download here

Sue Fisher, Senior Grants Officer, Heritage Lottery Fund

Susannah Bleakley, Morecambe Bay Partnership    James Rebanks

John Houston, Sefton      Dave McAleavy, Sefton     Tim Youngs

A Landscape Partnership Scheme must include a portfolio of projects that meet the following objectives:

A.    Conserving & restoring the cultural & natural heritage of an area.

B.    Encouraging community participation in local heritage.

C.    Increasing access to and learning about the landscape area and its heritage.

D.    Creating training opportunities in local heritage skills.

To contribute project ideas:
If you have ideas for projects, please complete a project proforma.
Ideally read the background paper first so that you are clear how your ideas could fit to the scheme.

To be kept informed:

If you did not attend, but wish to be kept informed about the progress of this scheme, please register to receive updates.
