Volunteer workparty: Bracken Clearance, Birkrigg Common

Join us to help clear bracken from important scheduled ancient monuments on Birkrigg Common, near Ulverston.

Help us clear bracken from Birkrigg Common, to help protect and conserve the important archaeological monuments that are hidden beneath (bracken clearance subject to bird survey results).

Working with Cumbria Wildlife Trust.

We meet at the Malt Kiln, Bardsea (http://www.themaltkiln.co.uk) at 9.30 for tea/coffee and registration. Full instructions, tools and all equipment will be provided. From the Malt Kiln working parties will go out to site to undertake targeted clearance work.
